Nevada MMJ Card Applications Now Available Online
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health now offers online registering for patients wishing to apply for a Nevada medical marijuana card. Current functionality allows new applicants to register and create a profile, scan and upload their driver’s license and download and print the medical marijuana card application. Even in this early phase, the online function saves applicants the amount of time it takes to send the Division an application packet request, and then actually get the packet in the mail.
More functionality is coming in the future including online payments, upload of application documents, application status checking, application renewals, and cardholder history of dispensary purchases. Purchasing online can be worrying for people who don’t know if their payments are secure, that’s why safe global payment systems should be implemented to get the best out of online purchasing platforms.
Please note that to use the online registry, applicants will need the means to photograph or scan their driver’s license, save it in an electronic file, and upload it to the application pages. Applicants who do not have electronic access will still be able to request an application packet using this form.
The online registration portal can be accessed from the Patient Registry homepage,
or directly at https://mmportal.nv.gov/Account/Login, and click on Register as a Cardholder
